We bought it (and we're not 100% sure we should have)!
The Pumpkin family has just spent the amount we spend on 5 months worth of groceries on a new table. It will be the coffee table in the living room. If you ever come to dinner, we'll move it to the dining area and raise it to dining table height.
Of course, there is the issue of what to do with the old coffee table. I've never liked it (it's a glass top table with sharp corners and I am afraid that the Pumpkin Princess will hit her head on it one of these days), but the Pumpkin Daddy seems to be attached to it. There really isn't any place to put it other than the 2nd floor play area, which would increase the possibility of the feared sanguinous situation taking place.
